Silver-Plated Titanium Fasteners for Semiconductor Equipment

Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) base material · ASTM B700 silver plating
18 months of continuous supply to a listed semiconductor equipment manufacturer — zero quality returns.

Why Silver-Plated Titanium Fasteners?

In semiconductor equipment, the fastener isn't just holding things together — it's part of the electrical and thermal system.

Reduced Contact Resistance

Silver plating lowers surface contact resistance at threaded interfaces. In grounding and shielding applications across semiconductor fab equipment, this means stable electrical performance over thousands of thermal cycles.

Galvanic Corrosion Protection

When titanium hardware mates with stainless steel or aluminum components in humid or chemically aggressive environments, silver plating acts as a sacrificial barrier — preventing galvanic corrosion at the contact interface.

Titanium Base Material Advantages

Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) provides a strength-to-weight ratio 40% higher than 316 stainless steel, with natural corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties — critical for precision equipment where vibration, weight, and magnetic interference matter.

Vacuum and Cleanroom Compatible

Silver-plated titanium fasteners are suitable for high-vacuum and cleanroom environments common in semiconductor processing chambers. Low outgassing rates and resistance to fluorine-based plasma chemistries make them a standard choice in fab-grade hardware.

A Track Record That's Verifiable

We don't list client logos we can't prove. Here's what we can tell you:

18
months
Continuous supply of silver-plated titanium fasteners to a listed semiconductor equipment manufacturer.
0
quality returns
Zero rejected batches across the entire supply period. Every shipment passed incoming inspection.
100%
on-time delivery
Every order delivered within the agreed window. No expedited freight charges passed to the client.
The semiconductor industry doesn't give second chances on quality. We earned this client by passing their incoming inspection — and kept it by never failing one. We'll do the same for you, or we'll tell you upfront that we can't.

How to Order

Four steps. No complicated portal, no account setup required.

01

Send Drawings

Upload your drawings, sketches, or sample photos. PDF, DWG, STEP, IGES — or just a photo with dimensions written on it. We work with what you have.

02

Get a Quote

Within 48 hours, you'll receive a formal quotation with: unit price, material grade, plating spec, lead time, and applicable certifications. No hidden charges.

03

Approve & Produce

Confirm the quote. For first-time orders, we produce a sample for your approval before full production. For tungsten and molybdenum parts, export licensing is handled on our side — included in the lead time.

04

Receive & Inspect

Shipment includes material test certificate, dimensional report, and plating thickness verification. Third-party inspection (SGS/BV/TÜV) available if you require independent verification.

Frequently Asked Questions

What silver plating thickness do you recommend for semiconductor applications?
For most semiconductor equipment applications, 5 μm silver plating per ASTM B700 is the industry standard. This provides adequate conductivity and corrosion protection without excessive buildup in threaded areas. For high-vacuum or extreme corrosion environments, we can increase thickness to 10 μm. We'll recommend the optimal specification based on your application if you're unsure.
Can you supply fasteners in titanium grades other than Grade 5?
Yes. While Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is our standard for semiconductor fasteners, we also supply commercially pure titanium (Grade 2) for applications requiring higher ductility and corrosion resistance, and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) for medical-adjacent or high-purity applications. Let us know your requirement and we'll quote accordingly.
Do you provide material test certificates with each shipment?
Yes. Every shipment includes an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate with heat number traceability. This documents the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the specific raw material batch used for your order. For semiconductor industry clients, we can also include plating thickness measurement reports and dimensional inspection reports.
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity. We regularly produce single-piece prototype orders and multi-thousand-piece production runs. Pricing adjusts with quantity, but there's no order too small to quote.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Standard quotes (known material, known specification) are returned within 24 hours. Custom or complex parts requiring engineering review may take up to 48 hours. We don't hold quotes — if we can't do it, we'll tell you immediately rather than string you along.
Do you handle export licensing for tungsten and molybdenum parts?
Yes. Tungsten and molybdenum are subject to China's dual-use export control regulations (effective February 2025). We handle the full export license application process on our side. This typically adds 5–10 working days to the lead time, which is already factored into our quotations. You don't need to do anything additional — we manage the paperwork.
